Dr. Liu is the Chairman of China Stone Financial Group listed on the HKEx (stock code 1911). He graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a doctor’s degree in law. Dr. Liu has extensive experience in the financial industry and has been instrumental to a number of major acquisitions of listed companies using innovative business models which led his team to achieve remarkable results. His professional work included being legal advisor and risk internal controller of a state-owned asset management company between 2008 and 2013, being general manager of risk compliance of a trust company between 2013 and 2015 and being Chief Risk Officer and Deputy General Manager of the HK subsidiary of a state-owned asset management company. Since August 2016, Dr. Liu became Executive Director of China Stone Group and Chairman of China Stone Financial Group (stock code 1911).
