Visit to the Intermediaries Division of SFC (“證監會”)

　　

      In the visit on January 25, we made our courtesy call to the Intermediaries Division (中介機構部) of Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) (證券及期貨事務監察委員會, “證監會”) where we were greeted by senior executives of Licensing Department (發牌科) and Intermediaries Supervision Department (中介機構監察科). The consensus of the meeting was that both ICOHK and RO Association should strive to play the role of a two-way bridge between industry professionals and the regulator. It was also agreed that more regular meetings between two sides would be conducive to the development of the intermediaries profession.
